It All Began With A Spiritual Awakening

Welcome to my story all about how Innovated Visions Jewelry was created. Let's start from the beginning. My name is Sarah Williams. I live in beautiful upstate NY, with my amazing daughter, and 4 cats. I have lived here basically all of my life. I had two amazing parents that raised me the best they could. I was a horrible child. I'm going to be honest. I used to be very defiant, uncontrollable, and always felt different from everyone around me. Let's just say, that I was the black sheep of the family. At the young age of 13 years old, I was diagnosed with a bunch of different mental illnesses. I was labelled as bipolar, borderline characteristic disorder, depressed, suicidal, and I was told that I had a chemical imbalance in my system that could only be fixed with medications. I was placed on a bunch of different medications and I felt like a lab rat. I hated how the medications made me feel. And when one didn't work, the doctor's would put me on something else. This went on for basically my entire childhood. I am very grateful that I had two parents that were amazing and helped me through it all. 

About The People Who Raised Me

I was born to Robin and Patricia Babcock. My parents were two of the hardest working people I have ever known. My father was a janitor at a local college, and my mother did a bunch of different jobs from cleaning, to working with mentally handicapped people. She loved working with and helping people. My parents had gone through a very traumatic motorcycle accident when they were only 18. My father loved riding motorcycles. One day while they were riding along, they were struck by a drunk driver who ran a stop sign. My mother went over the truck, while my poor father went under the truck. My mother had a lot of damage to her neck, back, and shoulders. My father was in a coma for about a week. He suffered from a crushed ankle, his femur was broken in three places, broken ribs, broken hip, and had major brain damage. If he wasn't wearing a helmet, he would have been dead. 

Growing Up With A Father That Had Brain Damage

The brain damage that my father suffered from, made it impossible for him to feel any kind of emotions. As a daddy's girl, this was hard for me to understand. My mother told us at a very young age about the accident and the damage that it had caused my father. She explained to us that we had to teach my father how to love us. I also have an older brother named Josh. Looking back now, I realize that I, in a sense, became my father. I was extremely apathetic. I didn't care about anyone or anything. Except animals. I have always loved animals. Which told me that I was able to feel love, I just didn't want to. I had no love for myself and I never thought I was good enough. My parents were incredible people. They just didn't know how to handle me. I can't say that I blame them. 

How Innovated Visions Jewelry Was Created

My company used to be called Trinity's Playground. I named it after my amazing daughter. I honestly didn't have a clue what I was doing. I literally just had a vision and started putting all the pieces together. I didn't even know how to wire wrap jewelry, and honestly I didn't even like jewelry. Isn't it ironic? The one thing I did know about, was crystals. My mother taught me at a young age about crystals and how we can use them as powerful tools to learn how to heal ourselves. My mother was also a healer, a shaman, hypnotherapist, counselor, and energy worker. Back before any of that stuff was even really talked about. She was a powerful empath and cycle breaker. I am beyond blessed that I had her as a role model. Even though we didn't get along, I learned everything I know from her. 

My First Experience With Crystals

My mother passed away at the young age of 44. I was only 21 when she passed. She had a neck surgery, came home, and died three days later. I came home from work and found her dead. My father basically died the same day. With his brain damage, he didn't know how to live without her. He began drinking heavily, and was up to two bottles of whiskey a day. He eventually killed himself three years after my mom passed. I also found him dead. So let's just say, I have experienced some major trauma in my life. I was a mess before they passed, so you can only imagine what I was like afterwards. I got my first very first amethyst necklace a few years after they passed. I was filled with negativity, anger, resentment, fear, and basically a lost soul. That amethyst crystal was the best healing tool. It was dark purple when I first got it, as time went on it got lighter and lighter in color. This was before I knew about clearing and cleaning crystals. It literally shattered on my chest. It was actually absorbing all of the negative energy that was in me. I was in shock. So, I purchased another one. It also shattered on my chest without being touched by anything else. This was such a powerful experience for me and when I learned how crystals could actually help us heal. My Spititual Awakening

In 2018 my whole life changed. I spent most of my childhood numbing myself with alcohol and drugs. It was just easier for me to live a normal life when I was numb. I spent 15 years addicted to narcotics. I know now that a bunch of different experiences lead to my spiritual awakening. I was at the lowest point in my life. I had lost basically everything, and at the same time I decided to take myself off all of the medications. I had a whole pill case that was filled with different prescriptions. I think that this combination forced me into the beginning of my awakening. I felt the change, I went through the dark night of the soul. It was terrifying, confusing, and I thought I was going crazy. I had a thirst for knowledge and started researching everything I could find about spiritual awakenings and emapths. This is also when I had the vision of creating my company. I saw it in my head that I was going to create a company using crystals and wire to help others learn how to heal themselves. My Journey As An Empath

After learning all about empaths, I knew that I created Innovated Visions Jewelry to help other empaths learn how to deal with everyday life. Not sure what an empath is? I learned all about shadow work, how to do it, and how we all need that part of us. This is when I began my healing journey. Healing all of my childhood trauma, learning to embrace my innerchild, and learning all about narcissists. All of my partners were either narcissists or emotionally unavailable. This was because of my lack of self love. We attract what we feel like we deserve. I did not love myself. I hated myself. Never feeling like I was good enough. Always settling for anyone who showed me any kind of attention. And because of that, I experienced even more trauma. But as I got older and wiser, I started learning different tools to help me learn how to love myself. I used crystals, different meditation tools, daily affirmations, mantras, setting healthy boundaries, and eventually rewired my brain. Today, I can honestly say that I have never loved myself more. This is also a part of how Innovated Visions Jewelry was created. I also started a private FaceBook group dedicated to helping other empaths. I wanted to create a safe place for us to find each other, help each other learn by asking questions, and a place where I could share my knowledge to help other empaths learn how to become an empowered empath. How I Learned To Wire Wrap Jewelry

As I said earlier, I had a vision but I didn't have a clue how to bring that vision to life. At first I just started to create small pieces using different crystals. I did watch a few tutorials on how to wire wrap. I just continued to teach myself and started to acquire more crystals and wire. I started on Ebay, then went to Etsy. But as I learned both of these platforms were already saturated with wire wrapped jewelry. That is when I decided to create my own website. Which was called Trinity's Plaground. Which was not a very descriptive name, explaining what I did. After much deliberation, I changed the name to Innovated Visions Jewelry. I named it this because what I do is innovative and I began to have visions of designs before I even created them. Spirit works through me. Before wire wrapping jewelry, I didn't think that I had an artistic bone in my body. I guess I was wrong. With each new piece my visions became more clear and more complex. That is when I started learning that I could literally create anything out of wire. I absolutely love crafting something incredible out of simple wire and crystals. 

Becoming A Reiki Master

You might think that just working with crystals was enough for my jewelry. But I decided that I needed to some how add another layer of protection to them. I started learning about reiki, the benefits, and how distant reiki worked. I was attuned as a reiki master in 2019. I found someone who joined my Facebook group who was already an attuned master and she attuned me. If you have never heard of reiki before, here is a quick definition from google.

The word Reiki means "mysterious atmosphere, miraculous sign". It comes from

the Japanese words "Rei," meaning universal, and "Ki," meaning life energy. Reiki is a type of healing energy. According to practitioners, energy can be stagnant in the body, where there has been physical injury or even emotional pain.
